Unique, precious, unrepeatable. I heard these three words today on TV, and immediately thoughts of my family came to mind. That’s the father in me. After I pondered it a bit, I was overwhelmed by the fact it pertains to me, also, as well as the rest of humanity. The Father's love for you is particular.
It is a love for you, because you believe in the Son, "for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came from the Father." (John 16:27) To assure that you are aided by the divine love, the Spirit is given to you. The Spirit is the companion, the advocate and the source of inspiration. The love of the Father and the Son enable the Holy Spirit to dwell with you. The Father's particular love for you has a point - that you bear fruit. The Father will tend to the vines and where the fruit does not endure; those vines will be cut away and thrown out into the fire.
The examples of fruit are manifold, in the teaching of Jesus and His example, in the Acts of the Apostles and teaching in the Epistles. While the divine love and inspiration of the Holy Spirit console us and fill us, the fruit that endures is our loving actions.
